Laura & Tan | Houston Hermann Park Engagement Session

Laura and Tan met while they were both in Japan, and continued their love story all the way back here. I love the way Tan makes Laura laugh. Every time they’re looking at each other, Tan can just some how make Laura give the most radiant smile. With some of the best lights I’ve seen in a while, we walked around Hermann Park, and had a great photo session. Here are some of our favorites.

JoJo & Johnny | Houston Wedding Photographer

JoJo and Johnny have been dating for over ten years, and now it’s finally time to tie the knot! I think they are probably the longest dating couples that we’ve had. Their family and friends turned up by the dozens to help them with every detail of the wedding. It felt very heart warming to see such strong supported centered around JoJo and Johnny. We started the day with two tea ceremonies for each sides of the family, and then moved over to Agave Road for a beautiful wedding and reception. Here are some of our favorite images.

Johnny needs to complete a series of tasks/games before he’s allowed in to see JoJo

JoJo can see a live broadcast via Facetime. I’m guessing they both were surprised at the tasks that Johnny has to do

Carol & Di | Houston Wedding Photographer

We had the opportunity to shoot Carol and Di’s wedding on a beautiful March day. As always for a Vietnamese wedding, the day’s event is packed full. Starting with a traditional Tea ceremony followed by the church ceremony and ended with a fun reception. Carol and Di are probably one of the most easy going couples that we’ve met. We loved their relaxed/happy attitude during the whole wedding. As we were reviewing the images, I found it really cute that Carol always makes sure to look at Di, as if checking to see if he’s having a good time too. From all the smiles I saw that day, I think everyone had a great time. Here are some of our favorite images.

Thanks again for capturing our special day. You guys were really awesome and easy to work with and, coming from a couple of people who don’t like having their pictures taken, that says a lot. :-)

One of the best wedding photos. The bright and groom look so pretty. Congratulations to Di & Carol.
